Russian Draughts is a Chrome extension with a single purpose: to let you play Russian draughts (шашки) offline - an 8×8 board with flying kings and men that capture backward - against a bot directly from the browser toolbar popup.

It is a separate product from Checkers Online. It does not sync sessions with any website, does not create accounts and does not read, modify or track the web pages you visit.

This policy applies only to the Russian Draughts extension published on the Chrome Web Store (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/lpdblogogkmjbjhjmfonbfjdppkejjga).

The extension keeps a small amount of data in chrome.storage.local, which lives only inside your Chrome profile on your device. The complete list:

• Game settings - bot strength, who moves first (white, black or random), board theme and whether sound is enabled.
• Current game snapshot - the board position and turn of an unfinished game so it can be restored when you reopen the popup.

Nothing is read from other websites or from your browsing history, and no data from other sites is ever written to this storage.

The extension does not send game state, settings or any personal information to a server. There is no authentication, no guest accounts and no matchmaking.

It declares no host_permissions. Gameplay never depends on a network connection. The only optional network-related behaviour is opening a single related website tab once after install or update (see Permissions below); that page load is ordinary browser navigation, not data collection by the extension.

The extension requests the minimum set of Chrome permissions required for its single purpose:

• storage - saves the settings and optional game snapshot listed above in chrome.storage.local on your device.
• tabs - used only to open a related website in a new tab once when the extension is installed or updated, and is not used to read, modify or track your other tabs, history or browsing activity.

The extension has no content scripts and does not request history, cookies, webRequest, alarms or “all sites” access. It has no host_permissions.

All JavaScript that runs in the extension is bundled inside the package reviewed by the Chrome Web Store. The extension does not download or execute remote scripts, does not evaluate code received over the network and does not load code from external servers.

The extension contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs and does not call third-party APIs for gameplay.

We do not sell, rent or share any data from this extension with third parties. We may disclose data only where required by law.

Our use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we certify that user data handled by this extension is:

• Not sold or transferred to third parties.
• Not used or transferred for purposes unrelated to the extension’s single purpose - playing offline Russian draughts.
• Not used or transferred to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

You stay in control of your data at all times:

• Change settings in the extension popup at any time; they overwrite the previous values in chrome.storage.local.
• Starting a new game replaces any saved unfinished game snapshot.
• Remove the extension - Chrome deletes all of the extension’s chrome.storage data on uninstall.
• There is no server-side copy of your settings or games to delete.

The extension is a general-audience offline game and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through this extension, contact [email protected] and we will help address it.

We may update this policy when the extension changes - for example if a permission is added or removed. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page identifies the current version, and material changes will also be reflected in the Chrome Web Store listing. Continued use of the extension after an update means you accept the revised policy.
